Room Rescue Project

For anyone who has followed my progress through FlyLady’s 31 Days of BabySteps, you will have seen that one of the tasks on my developed Morning Routine is to spend 5 minutes doing a Room Rescue.

If you don’t know, a Room Rescue involves choosing a room in your house that you consider to be the worst — one that you either do not ever let anyone see or (as in my case where the room cannot be closed off) that you are embarrassed for people to see.

For me, this room was our Laundry Room. Here’s what it looked like before I started the BabySteps:

Before doing anything

And trust me when I say that — although the part you can see in the picture is by far the worst area of the room — the parts of the room that you cannot see is full of clutter also. I’m working on it, little by little, 5 minutes each day as I complete my BabySteps.

However, now that I’m more than a week into the Room Rescues, I thought it might be a good idea to have a place to keep all of the photo updates. That’s what this page is for. Here ya go!
