I have spent the past month (it is January 2017, at the time I am writing this) working toward a healthier lifestyle with regular exercise and homemade meals. My purpose in doing this has been to not only save money for my family, but also to put healthier food into our bodies (as opposed to the high calorie and fat food we were eating from fast food and random meals here and there).
Eating at home has not always been a priority for us, but as our family grows and our income stays (relatively) the same, we have realized that eating out on a regular basis is fast becoming a financial strain, not to mention the added pounds on our bodies.
In this section, I will focus on meal planning, maybe a few recipes (although I don’t do much experimentation when it comes to cooking so most of my recipes have been obtained from others), and what I’m doing to get my body moving each day.
I’m working toward a healthier me so I can grow a healthier family, and perhaps in the process, I can encourage others to do the same. Looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
